3rd technique class in SnG
1st time meet Mel straight at studio, nv go together....hmmm
Anyways our timing was still abt there...lol
Wasn't in a very good mood initially but somehow, somewhat DANCE will always and never failed to make me feel better. Well, i guess for those non-dancers who reads my blog will think that i'm crazy, being so obsessed with dance. As if dance can really do miracle and makes u forget abt everything, anything for that moment? Someone actually told me before to get a life, cos she thinks that i have no life, apart from dance.HEY! DANCE IS MY LIFE!
Dancers out there, only YOU understands how a dancer really feels deep down inside. =)
Another precious session from Bellman again! Ooohhh i love HIM!! hahas..
Bellman's Golden Words:
"RUMBA is 90% made out of purely walks....... just walks."
"Why Asians always lose out to westerners? Cos they have this connection barrier... to get close. Is it so difficult to have eye contact with your partner? If you can't even have eye contact with your partner, how are you going to do it to the adjudicators?" (so true lor)
"Technique is only there to enhance the dance....(forget abt technique.... lol..of cos not!!)
"JUST DANCE IT OUT..... forget abt everything and enjoy the dance"
Learnt how to lead the female today, being able to know when to stop her, feel her, turn her and direct her. Mel and I can't really get that at 1st but slowly slowly start to get the hang of it. *smilez* Eye contact part was the funny bit, at least i don have much of a prob with it but that day was like so sudden that we have to do it so both were like grinning away lar!! Supposed to look with emotions but ended up smiling...kns! But was still good la! SSSsooooooo much better! Suddenly we felt that finally we were dancing! So different!
Prac till abt 8pm. Chacha was good too! Had fun and enjoyed! "Well danced today, partner! Shiok!" (said Mel's sms) I totally agree!! CAn't wait till the next technique class again. But only 3 more to go......Sadz!
Gotta reach work at 8am tml!! SEG Week rehearsals for my dear Danz Inc.
Yawnz... BE disciplined!! I can Do it!!
