Dinner with Mum and sis in Marina's Cafe Cartel was a good feeling, after so long since we trio last dined outdoors. Blame myself for being so occupied and refusing to sacrifice a little more time at home.... in fact, on anything.

Laughed and joked alot, really enjoyable. Hope to spend more family quality time and also not forgetting my friends. Sorry if i neglected any of YOU....

Burn the Floor "Floorplay"

"Floorplay" was absolutely astounding! Stage was fantastic, dance was magnificent, expression was impressive, dancers were energertic!! Experience was totally Remarkable!!

Rene got inspired more to dance better and work towards improvement always.

Had lunch with Benji and had a bowl of prawn noodle followed by 1 mushroom & 1 plain prata!!

Edelweis bought desert back for SA and i ate a Mango one!! Nice =) Snacked here and there, am feeling very bloated now. But haiz can't resist temptation!! Stomach might be full but the craving doesn't stop.

Don't really know how to plan for my event and stuffs. Feel like i'm so inefficient and useless in planning suddenly. LAst time i could just plan like nobody's business. What is happening to me!! Sucks!!

Is this what is happening to my life too? Realised im not doing much planning for my own life, given my age now. Taking things too easy, too lightly to realise things don't just happen by themselves. It's YOU YOURSELF that makes things happen and decide what u want to happen. Guess im just too simple a person who likes to just take a small step at a time and be contented with what i have/already achieved rather than see things in a big picture. Well, not always actually, depending on situations. Crap! THINK RENE!

Back to work after the hectic dance period.. hahas. Kinda stoned and was late for 1hr for work =p Lucky didn't get any scoldings. Nth much happened at work today...

Pretty much a gloomy day as it kept raining & raining... Though i like rainy days at times but not too much of it. Months of rain have passed the year and sometimes it can get quite depressing when things aren't going well. Hope the sun shines again... (",)

Finally met up after a long period but was still unable to settle the prob. It seems to be revolving abt the same thing, same issue, same situation, same outcome and everything! Nth changes.... Left hanging is always the solution. Sick and tired but still no outcome. Why?

Yeah !! It finally ended and we were both happy and satisfied with our results but knowing we cld've done much better =) Managed to get into Semi (despite the BIG mistake) and FINALS. Got 7th placing and Leong & Cindy got 5th placing....Congrats to all!! WELL DONE!


However, we both felt that we did not do our best in all rounds. Made mistakes here and there. Well, we admit we're both nervous!! haha.. Many commented on Mel's improved expression =)
Yay!! Overall we received good comments from many ppl generally including other competitors from SP and NP. We'll continue to work so much harder.. partnership doesn't stop here for us but continue to burn, just like our PASSION!!

Back to Hotel Rm 5257
Yay!! It's Supper time in Geylang for Beef Hor Fan ($5/plate) So ex lor, but nice lar... Peter ordered so many other food for us to share too!! Still have Tau Huay as desert lor... I'm alrd dead tired by then. Slept at 330am all the way till 12pm next day!!!
Feeling was shiok although was kinda cold w/o a blanket thruout. (lucky i have my SPORT jacket...hahas)

3 days to LION CITY.......

Met Alvin for breakfast at North canteen and still felt a little guilty abt the prank i made on him. Sorry kies...hahas. Spent the entire day keying in the emails or students for Rumya's petition to hit 5000 signatures!! The whole SA team once again join forces to get as many signatures as possible till our eyes almost popped out!!

Towards noon, was feeling super tired and restless. Happen to meet Deng Lin for late lunch, wow this guy really can eat man!! Haha...hope u managed to complete ya "1000-pics-to-video" task =p

Prac was quite okay today and my tassles are getting lesser and lesser....Omg! Laughed like Mad again when we both did a chaine turn in opposite direction TOWARDS EACH OTHER......
and "BAM"!!! We knocked into each other fell to the GROUND!! Oh no.......Throw face hahas. And sickening Mel caught a video of me trying to kill a cockroach..so funny!

Yeah! Home early today cos were satisfied with our prac and wanted to rest more. Big THANKIES to Benji who bothered to go thru the trouble going Bugis to get accessories for me. Although could not find much, but i really appreciate the effort. Also thanks for helping my hairdo, comments on our routines, taking videos and offering to stayover ya place.

Ya encounter with the sales auntie is still the best lar....World Class lor u...hahha...can still laugh myself now when i recall Mel relating it...haha.. Some things jus nv change our Mr. Benji!!

We had a small grp of audience (Han Ern and study gang) just now hahha.. Seem to dance to many ppl today with FULL COSTUME on. BEST one is kena "SaBoh" to dance in front of entire SA along the small narrow corridor!! CHallenging man!! Wilfred still took many snapshots.....totally looked like crap haha...hate snapshots!

KInda hurt my upper back and my old hip injury seems to be come and go lately. HAiz...if anything wana happen i also don't care now, wana kena pls pls let it happen after LON CITY..

Satisfied with prac today =) Initially, Mel and I totally lost our mood to dance after wearing our costume. Totally looked like Red packets!! Don't look capturing at all, more like Upper Primary. hahas...But slowly we grew to like it and slowly got used to it.

Looked very nice in Rumba but ChaCha still needs alot more work. Oh well, overall we're very satisfied with the productive training today. Was so so fun lar today, laughed like mad....

Lunch time was settled in AMK K-lunch (KBox) haha with Lina, Joan and Dragon Papa..Eat again!! OMG!! I still wana fit into my costume for Sunday, gotta resist temptation! Was a fun KTV session but would be so much better if the rest could join us =)

Celebrated Amy and Lina's belated bday in SA meeting rm. Nice Cakes from Pine Gardens. Gonna collect costume later again. Hopefully can fit well and we can try to prac with it later. Dunno y i just feel so pressurised and stressed over this comp. More nervous than excitement. Everyone that comes and ask me "How is preparation for comp coming along?" My heart will pound faster.... haiz... Relax Rene...

New beginning of the Stressed week after a real Hectic week....

It's MOnday!! The 1st day of my LION CITY competition week....could feel the stress and tension when i woke up in the morning, realising that i'm only 6 days to comp!! SCAry!!

The thought of knowing that i got many things to do and esp clear my "Mustafa" area behind my desk after "PAddles @ Marina Bay event sickens me. Soooo Messy!! I always have Monday blues.... Everything else turned better when Lina wanted to treat us to Copthorne King's for lunch buffet =) For thanking and showing her appreciation for the support and success of the event.

Food was GOOD!! Ate so so much...SinFUL!! Must control Rene!! Didn't managed to do much work today. Tml must not slack already!! Rushed to LIVI for costume collection but both still needed alteration. Needa come down tml again...Urgh!! Mel & I look like we are 2 huge red pkts competing Upper Primary Cat lor...Haiz.. Went to mend my shoes too, only $3!! YEah =)
After settling everything, realised its kinda pointless to prac in NYP due to time constraint. Ate the FULLEST SubWay meal ever then back to NYP. Was a fun Subway eating session...hahas.

Went home earlier again! hahas...After comp i wana go Shopping!! Saw so so many nice stuffs in FAr East. Really been ages since i spent to pamper myself. I will go shopping soon!!! Thought abt so so many things i wana do...

Determined to gain back some of my sports and train up my stamina and learn new things and lastly conquer my phobias... Will be another challenge to me but i need a motivator too!!! haha..

I hope after LION CITY, things doesn't stop there. I would wana carry on for Dancesports and prepare even harder for Oct comp (if there is still gonna be one) Hope to be more physically fit by then and of cos i will wana loosen up abit to give myself a little break. Got my chest pains more frequently lately. Twice today....SCAry! HAte that feeling....like im literally dead for that few seconds. What's happening?? Oh well, i just need more rest i guess...hahas

Here goes.....
Went to DAnceArts Studio for session with Peter. Leong and Cindy were there too. Improvisation on our routines and were taught floorcraft, entrance and exit etc. More of guidance today. Session was good and saw a class of little pink ballerinas taking lessons!! SSooooooo CUteeeeeeeee!!

Ate dinner at Mouth Kitchen in Cinatown with Peter and Mel. Sooo FULL!! Peter treated us and it was the very 1st time to have Mel to have a meal outing together!! Coolness! Talked alot alot abt dance, more of Peter's journey thru dance. But it's always informative and beneficially motivative to me. =) Went Cindini to try to amend my poor heels but to no avail. Haiz.... Really hopefully i can get it fixed before my comp!! UNLUCKY.

Walked with Peter to Telok Ayer and almost climbed up Ann Siang Hill (heex..) Then took a car lift from Wang Da to Hong Lim Green CC to see Chinese DAnce reh. NIce! and Ms Ding HOng lao shi still rem me!! Hahas

Walked to Raffles Mrt and off we go back home. Well, a contented day spent =)

S&G nite

Had our own training 2gether with Leong and Cindy too..Not really a wacking session but still maintained =) Went to Serangoon & tried out some samples of latin costumes....had so so many variety of costume!! Sickening Mel say i look like Upper Primary -_- I also kinda agree lar but don make it so obvious ma...hahas

The fitting of costumes evolved to some kinda skin rash on my face and back and hands!! Freaking irritating and itchy....Luckily it eventually subsided...Phew!!~~

Prac in S&G was great!! Kena wacked by Peter on our New Yorka then drilled that for more that 45 mins!! It's all worth it. As usual, we couldn't feel our feet esp our toes after 11pm. Reaching S&G is always pleasing but agonising on the journey home...haha.. Sunday will have personal 30min private session with "Ding Dang Ren" Bellman.....hahhaha . Coolness! Will be prepared to be wacked hard by him as he always or only emphasize on the GIRL side. I'm so gonna die...

It's our self prac again in Aerobics studio!! Haha...more like a photo-taking prac session. Dunno y both of us just didn't have the mood to dance. So RARE that we'll feel this way!! It's always like that, one "Nua" both will "Nua". One "on", both will be "on". Hahas...maybe that's a good partnership! bleah! Took creepy pics of reflections and funny videos...kinda fun to distract us outta our tedious routines. A wasted day? I'll not label as that, time-off session i would say. Guess we're both stressed out ba.. yupps..

Happy 42 Birthday, SINGAPORE!!

Outing with all ASAO, Alvin and Shuan! Semi-filled our little tummies with Subway at Marina Square before watching fireworks. Joan had a freaking hard time to find a carpark lot!!!! Ended up parking at Funan IT mall. Walked all the way to NTUC BLDG to see fireworks(where the lighted "jellyfishes" were situated) The anticipation of the arrival of the fireworks gradually died off after waiting so long till we got kinda bored and sianz.

Actually this year's NDP wasn't that spectecular after all. Despite all the costly lightings and enormous amount of preparation efforts. To my dismay, even the fireworks kinda failed to light up the sky and did not really capture the nations hearts. Quite a disappointment actually...

Our group grew bigger when joined by Chris and KAren after the works. Proceeded to Marina Chong Pang to eat seafood buffet. Sooooo FULL....... And Mr Shaun!! Don''t dare me ya (prawn incident...haha) Else we'll disturb u and "round shit" like MAdddd!! heex =p

Our night ended at a little chill out area in Bugis. Place was quite cosy but i had to leave early. Working next day!! =( Cabbed back!!!

StageArts Annual Production:PEOPLE (8 Aug 07)

Had a mini meeting with Mr Wee and other AMs on how to improve & promote on our individual depts, esp my side~~ARTS! Well, gotta work hard liao...so so many upcoming events! Both major and minor ones!! FOCUS! Plus comp drawing so near with not much preparation done and also hectic practices=LESS REST + SLEEP. Rene will endure this period. Tks dear P.bag for ya lovely encouragement =) ~*Big Hugs*~

Once again, the annual alumni gathering arrived at 730pm! It's SA production in TFA =) YEah!
Was so proud of my StageArts babies who did so well in PEOPLE. Was an enjoyable show esp my junior NICHolAS!! U are really a potential "GAY" actor!! 2 Thumbs up! Had prac with Mel today. JAzz class is gonna be sacrificed for the entire Aug to ensure on our full focus on Lion City. Drilled own individual techniques and a few routine rounds of rumba then NUA!!! Laid down, forming shadows, talking cock, laugh and etc, was kinda fun too. Might be good too, as a lil time off from dance.

End of weekend again..

Quite a relaxing day today although still had dance, self-prac with Mel in S&G. Felt weird initially but still managed to clear up quite abit on our routines =) Sis's Thai frens P'Oi and Kung went back today. They cooked and tasted the original TOM YAM b4 i left for dance!! Superb!! Dunno when will my cough ever be okay...hahas.... but it was totally worth it!

Ytd was Bellman's last lesson. As usual benefited much and din really danced much after that, even in S&G prac nite. Well, probably was pretty packed too. Rushed over to Livi to get Mel's pants altered..aha..

Aunt came and was supposed to go Club5. Music and place sucked so switched to St. James but din went in too (or rather cant..ahems..hahas) In the end, only ate Mac in Vivo City!! PAthetic...came all the way to eat MAc haha..Reached back Aunt's place at 130am. Poor Mel, only back an hour later!! (my fault lar...sorries!! Sssoooo guilty...)

Fri was nth much..self prac alone during lunch and went to Bishan with Edel and Joan. Ate Crystal Jade, not bad =) Had a mini singing session after work with HAn,Joan and Edel..hahaz choosing songs for SO concert. Fun!! Prac in Aerobics rm 7pm-9pm and then to AMK Hub to eat. Met Alvin and Joan came to pass the huge Water container..hahas.. Stayed over at Aunt's place. Yawnz....

Ops Meeting at 3pm till abt 530pm!! Felt so sleepy thru out!! Skipped Jazz today =(
Rushed to AMK to meet JOyce after work take shuttle bus to Turf City. It's Ms Kwan Sze Hua's Bday celebration!! Ate at "AH YAT Seafood Restaurant. 4 of us ate to a total of $130! Crabs, BAmboo Clan, Cereal Prawns, Steamed fish and all!! WOW...plus a durian cake to end off! OMG!! Tml must DANCE till i drop else i'll be SSssoooooooo GUilty!!

MOnday (30/7): Took a silly video of thick-skinned Alvin (Mr Hot) haha so er xin!! =p kept molesting my "Brownie" Took over Latin prac today. Drilled techniques, turns, across the floor and stretching. Not too bad, was on time to end my session at 8pm sharp. Then had self prac on all routines. Home with Tim and Peiru!!

Tue (31/7): Had steamboat lunch in meeting rm with all colleagues for Mr Foo's farewell party. Enjoyed and ate alot!! Oh dear....cannot gain weight...haha control. Nth much, went to Jazz and felt standard really dropped so much. Talked to Peter abt Lion City =) Finally got some confirmation...kinda relieved but now it's STRESS TIME!!! Its ok i love chanllenges..C'mon!!!
Reached home only at 12 plus....YAwnzzzz... Inner tigh and hip joints are aching.....
